Misted double glazing in Maldon, Essex is a very common problem, Maldon is a town and civil parish on the Blackwater estuary. It is the seat of the Maldon District and is the starting point of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation, and many older window frames are now starting to become misted up.

The Misted double glazing unit had condensation and white stains that would not disappear no matter how hard they tried. The client even tried to dry the glass unit out with a hairdryer, but to no avail.
After a site survey, we managed to locate the problematic window panes. The team then measured the failed panes and returned the specifications to our UK glass manufacturer. Within a few days, the new crystal clear panes were delivered to the Misty Glaze HQ in High Ongar, Essex.
The Misty Glaze team contacted the client to arrange a suitable time to replace the panes. Our glazing installation team then returned to swap the failed double glazing panels with brand new ones (replacing the glass only and not the frames).
The job was completed after a couple of hours. This cost-effective service is very popular throughout the whole of Essex.
